Welwyn designs and manufactures a wide range of fixed resistors from mW chips to kW power resistors, both from our catalogue and customised to your application needs.

To enable you to buy sample quantities we are working with Farnell to ensure quick and easy ordering and delivery. You can purchase TT electronic products through the Farnell website or where you see the Buy Now sign on the resistor listings pages.

We have several tools on site to enable you to find the right technology and product for your application:

Resistor Family Datasheet Finder Click to view search

If you know the family / series / product reference

Classification Search Click to view search

If you wish to explore product options by application, technology or package type

Parameter Search Click to view search

The most comprehensive tool to narrow down your product choice by specific technical requirements

Enter the parameters you wish to specify in any or all of the fields as follows:

Lowest / Highest Resistance Value - enter here to define the value range you require. If you are looking for one specific value, enter that value in both fields. The search will check only that the values requested are within range for each product. Actual values available are generally in accordance with standard value ranges defined on the datasheet, e.g. E24.

Tolerance - enter here the maximum percentage tolerance on resistance value. The search may find products that are available at tighter tolerances than you have specified.

TCR - enter here the maximum Temperature Coefficient of Resistance (TCR) required. The search may find products that are available at lower TCR's than you have specified.

Power @ 70°C / 25°C - enter here the minimum power rating required at the stated ambient air temperature. Be sure to select the appropriate rated temperature. If in doubt, use 70°C. The search may find products that are available at higher rated powers than you have specified.

Limiting Element Voltage - enter here the minimum continuous operating voltage required. In the case of AC, for most products this is the RMS voltage, but for some high voltage products it is the peak voltage. The search may find products that are available at higher LEV's than you have specified
