Welwyn is a major player in Aerospace and Defence electronics, with historical partnerships in key programmes, including Eurofighter, Airbus, NH90, Tornado & Bowman.

As with all of our market sector involvement, the organisation has gained attainment of core approvals, such as BS9450, ISO9001 2000 & TS16949. This activity extends into full conformance and qualification testing meeting requirements across the MIL-STD sets, electrical test at extreme temperatures and vibration. These and other needs have defined the growth and learning of our microelectronic assemblies business, shaping fundamental test & screening processes.

All operations are led by a dedicated multi-discipline project team, which is active from conception and throughout the product lifecycle.
